Walmart's New Membership Program - Competes With Amazon Prime
Oh boy! Competition is a good thing - a Membership program to compete with Amazon!
Walmart is introducing it's own membership program at the end of July called Walmart+ that will surely be competing with Amazon Prime! Details are just starting to leak but the price will be $98 (less than Prime!).
Walmart+ members can enjoy same-day delivery of groceries and general merchandise, discounts at Walmart gas stations, and early access to product deals! Plus, members will have a Scan & Go option to be able to pay with their phone and NOT wait in line

There will also be additional perks for the Walmart Express two hour delivery service.My Take: This program is going to directly compete with Amazon Prime - which makes all of us consumers the winners! Competition breeds competitive pricing, perks, and promotions. I'm looking forward to how this will play out in the next few months. and if there will be a free month trial for Walmart+. Walmart has been great the last few months at stocking sanitizer, and disinfectant products online and has been very reliable lately with their quick shipping times.
